There are many causes of skin rashes and irritations. From certain medications to razor bumps, detergents to allergies. Whether the rash goes away on its own depends on its diagnosis and successful treatment. If you have a new rash and you have a fever or some other generalized illness associated with it, it would be best to see your doctor.
